'Tis the Season to Strut our Stuff!

One of the single best things about being an Irish dancer here at Inis Cairde is that we get to spend so much time together performing with our friends during the month of March! How lucky are we to have an entire month to not only celebrate Irish everything, but also to share our love of Irish dancing with the community!

This season has been particularly exciting; we started our month off with international festivals at both The Franciscan Preschool and at Marbles Kids Museum. We then had a great weekend at the Raleigh St. Patrick's Day Parade and surrounding festivities, including dancing with band Enter the Haggis, and at Tir na nOg, which to our relief has reopened and is doing great!

This past week our dancers of all ages displayed some fancy feet at the St. Raphael Early Childhood Center, and performed with the NC State Irish Session musicians at Stewart Theater. Our little ones were especially appreciated at the two senior centers we visited, and the response to our advanced crew dancing at two private St. Patrick's Day parties was overwhelmingly supportive.

Thank you to everyone who has invited us to their event this season! And we are not finished yet; if you would like to catch our dancers in action, you can see us as the following upcoming events that are open to the public:

3/30, Briarcliff Elementary School International Festival, Cary,

5:45pm

4/2 as a cheering squad for the Rock n Roll Marathon, Raleigh

4/22 Ceilidh at the Cary Arts Center, Cary, 7pm

4/22 Frogapalooza at Turner Creek Elementary, 4:45pm

4/27 Cultural Explosion of Orange County, 5:15pm

4/28 York Elementary School Spring Carnival, 5:30pm

We hope you enjoy some of the highlights of our show season thus far! Interested in having us dance at your special event or school? Visit our "Book a Show" page.
